Set yourself constraints to spark your creativity, unlocking new ideas by turning writing into a puzzle to be solved. Often the more barriers we face, the more creative and interesting our solutions become, so let's put up our own barriers, and see how we get around them.

A constraint can be used to form an entire work, from a little haiku to a long novel, or used as a temporary trick to fire up your inspiration and get you writing freely.

In this workshop we'll look at a bunch of difficult but fun constraints and then try some out ourselves to see what we come up with!
