  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • 24 Davey Street Hobart

Registration is closed

Katherine Johnson will run a creative writing workshop focusing on different ways of narrating stories in terms of the perspective or 'point of view' that is used ie who is telling the story, what is their relationship with the events of the story, and how do they tell the reader about them? Published examples of different approaches will be discussed, and there will be plenty of time to experiment within the class, so that writers can see the advantages and disadvantages of each approach.

Tasmanian writer Katherine Johnson has published four novels, the latest being Paris Savages, recently released in the UK. She is also a science writer and holds a PhD from the University of Tasmania, where she tutors in creative writing.
