Well, there’s a dry, boring topic for a workshop. But … no! For novelist Danielle Wood, editing is one of the most creative and satisfying parts of the writing process. Editing is where you take the raw material of your first draft, and use your craft and skill to polish it up into the most beautiful version of itself. Editing is the skill that takes you from ‘you know what I mean’ to ’this is precisely what I mean’. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to put your editing queries to a writer who’s written and published in numerous genres, and pick up some handy hints and tips to make your writing shine. Please bring something to write with, something to write on, and an open mind. 'Editing is actually awesome,’ said Somebody, Once Upon a Time (okay, it was Danielle).
